I also noticed another thing when it comes to the differences between Sonic's and Mario's offensive jumping abilities Sonic can only harm badniks when he's in the spinning animation when he jumps either into a badnik or on top of a badnik.and when he ground rolls into a badnik, but if Sonic just walks off a ledge and happens to land right on top of a badnik in the running animation, Sonic instead takes damage and loses rings.
